What is a respectable time for a century?Tahoe Gator

recently completed my first ever century: around Lake Tahoe during a Leukemia event. Ride had 4,000 feet of climbing. Achieved my goal of under five hours, start to finish including stops, with a total average of 20.5 mph. Other than a random rider from time-to-time, did a 2-man, 2-minute rotation with a buddy for the first 80 miles and then finished solo. Did not get passed by a single rider, but it was a staged start "ride" and not a "race" so i have no idea if my time/average speed is respectable. (also posted this on General, but got only 1 reply)
that's respectable nmDougSloan

Matter of fact it's so respectable that most of us couldn't match it. i sure couldn't. that is nearly on par with the middle pack racers for power over distance. you must be in great shape.

Considering the climbing, a very good time - nmMcAndrus
