|Look out Alfredo Binda. Mario is coming!!||Sintesi|

|That's 35 stages to Binda's 41. Judging by Mario's form in his so called "autumn years" it's possible he will knock this record out in two years. Didn't he take 5 stages last year? People like Mario and JaJa and Museeuw just blow me away. Hats off to the 30 somethings!
Who's watching the race? Wanna describe the action on yesterdays sprint. Was anyone close?

|It was an interesting sprint with McEwin (sp) getting a bit miffed over an apparent block by Mario's lead-out man. FWIW, I thought the "block" was legit as McEwin took what looked like an odd line. These things are always up for debate but the judges made no ruling so there ya go. |
The live feed coverage was quite good.... albeit there were quite a few signal breakups. The best part was the near continuous feed (NO commercials) for the last 20Km. Bob Roll also had some very good commentary..... I can only hope that he'll have the head job soon.
BTW: Please keep the winners names out of the subject field.

|I figured it's the day after the race so there's no spoiling going on by putting the winner in the subject heading. So Bob Roll is commentating still. Is Paul Sherwen there as well?
Personally I think Bob is okay but he gets a little full of himself with the poetry and lofty verbiage. I like Paul a lot better but then again he gets a little redundant at times. "Absolutely incredible!" ; )

|His lead out man was fined and relegated to last place for blocking.
Mario is a speed demon but Binda actually won the Giro a few times. I think Mario has a ways to go before he reaches Binda's accomplishments.

|Not only that, but Mario will NEVER own the Global Toe Strap market like Alfredo did...|

|That is my only beef with Paul, he uses the absolutely WAY too much. But his, along with Phil's and Bob's, commentary is great. Everybody has their quirks that won't please everybody else.
Specifically to Bob Roll, I am quite surprised by his commentary this year. He seems to have toned it down a bit. And they got him into a suit! Wow!
