|squeekie chain, lube suggestions????||jjtriumph|

|i have been using pedros ice wax...but it seams that i need to lube before EVERY ride to avoid the squeekies..
saturday after my ride, i cleaned the chain (removed it) very well, lubed with pedros...raced on sunday...monday it was squeeky again...ughghg...suggestions?
i think im single handidly keeping pedros in business with all the shite im buying.

|try ProLink. supposed to be better than all the other stuff on the market. I've been using it for about 3 weeks with no problems. it does get a little dirtier than white lighting, but last longer.
check out www.hi-techbikes.com they can give you the whole explanation on this stuff.\
if that does not work, get a new chain.

|I've use Boelube -- doesn't dry well and atracts dirt. Best I've used is White Lightning, however it does need to be re-applied almost every ride. I remember an article on the wrenches at the Tour, and they said they put new chains on the pro rigs almost every day. If you though lube was expensive...|

|If it squeeks, toss it and start over with a new lubed chain.
I've been using Tri-Flo for years. Works for me.
I always strip off the gunk that comes on a new chain using citrus and a tooth brush. Let the chain drip dry. Then I place just a drop on every link. After the first couple of rides, wipe off the excess. I go through about three chains in a season (Campy or Sachs).
