|After 20+ years of riding the same racing frame and setup I finally bought a new bike. The geometry is very close to my now rain bike. I'm experiencing a slight strain/pull on the inside back of my right knee. Is there an adjustment to my setup that will help. The only difference in the setup that I can tell is the crank arm is 172.5 instead of 170mm and it feels like the reach to the bars is slightly longer. I've switched stems from 120mm to 110mm. I've been using time pedals since they came out with no problems.

|I've just been riding about 3 months, and I had my saddle way too high - more than an inch. Was having similar knee pain, and this absolutely fixed it.
However, after a great long ride with no knee pain, I thought I'd dropped it just a touch too far (just seemed like too much knee flex to me). Put it back up about 3/8 inch, and WHAM, serious pain in the knees during a short 20 mile ride after work yesterday - only this time, right on the patella.
What gives? Just some leftover stress from 55 miles (after a previous record of 30miles in a day???
