I've been out of the racing scene (Cat 4 road/sport mtn) for a few years and I was wondering if anything has changed in that time. I've heard Norba is starting to take a backseat in New Jersey. How about the USCF - do they still run all the road races. Are the NJ/NY Cat 4 races still 90% lame crits, 5% crits that are called road races and 5% road races (OK, so I'm not a huge crit fan - short & dangerous). Finally, what is the best place to find racing calanders? Thanks for your help!

sometimes I can't get it to work without hitting the Refresh button. Don't know if there is a specific cite for Jersey races, but there are two good sites for PA and D20 (MD, DE, northern VA) races. Let me know if your interested can't help you out with the type of races in Jersey since I rarely venture over there.

NORBA? Hasn't been a NORBA MTB race in NJ for quite a while now. It's good !! The race scene is awesome. Races are all over NJ and PA mostly.

Crits are big in NJ. I usually go to PA and even NY for better races. The cyclingcalendar link Wayne gave you is good for PA. What type of races do you want?

There's a good calandar for NJ races on the website for the Lehigh Valley Velodrome. Go to and then go to their links page.
