|Does anyone know what to do for a sprain? and how long does it take to heal?|

|I'm assuming your sprain in on one of your appendages...so the best advice I can give you is to take it easy on that particular area of the body appendage that is damaged. Also, keep it from doing any hard activity. Keep it loose by perhaps delicate massaging or warm compress.
I also read in a book written by a doctor that when sports injuries occur on athlete's appendages, physical therapy involved to get the damaged appendage back to working order faster follows this methodology: for example if one leg is damaged, the athlete is subjected to exercise routines utilizing the undamaged leg...whereby it was estimated that even though the damaged appendage wasn't doing any of the exercise work, it still received 80% of the benefits (i.e. muscle strenght increase, etc) of the exercised appendage...thereby, recovery of the damaged appendage was speed up versus not doing anything at all.
