I know this is kind of short notice but does anyone want to cut out of work a bit early tomorrow (Fri) and preride the Roubaix coarse at a nice, easy pace? I can be there at 4:15.

As long as it's easy pace, I'm game. I don't have to work at all tomorrow. I just rode it today. The Death Corner seems to have been swept a tad cleaner (that can all change in a day, though).

Drop me an e-mail: and we can work out the details.

But I can't go--I have a meeting at work Friday afternoon and won't be able to make it up to Boulder. Also, I'm doing the Stazio crit and not the Roubaix. Good luck in the Roubaix you guys, I bet it will be brutal! By the way, any idea what size the cat 4 field will be at the Stazio?

Maybe next time. Good luck at your race. You might try checking the results from last year's race to estimate your field size:

Have you checked the weather? 70 and raining, that's absolutely perfect! It's going to be UGLY.

Yeah, I'm doing my rain dance right now! Mud, glorious mud!
You guys are insane...RockyMountainRacer

Road bikes in the mud, eh? I'll say it again, you folks are mad! Speaking of mad, I was just watching last year's Paris-Roubaix last night (I bought it on tape), and those guys are truly insane. Hincapie and Dierxsons are truly some of the biggest bad asses I've ever seen, but Musseow is pretty cool too. You have to be cool when you as a single rider have your own flag! The Lion of Flanders!
