I'm not too familiar with different brands of aero bars. I'm looking to outfit my road bike for time trials. Does anyone have suggestions, favorites?

Syntace and Profile are probably your best bets. If you're looking to add them to a standard road set-up, look for something on the shorter side. Myself, since I'm pretty handy with tinkering with parts, I just went with a regular clip-on (Profile Split Second) and modified it to fit my riding on a standard road set-up.

I just got a TT bike kitted with the Profile Carbon-X combo. Really nice, I like it a lot. Plenty stiff on the wings for starts, a nice range of adjustability with the extensions, and pleasing (to my hands and eyes) curves. The pads are on the thick and dense side too.
