After reading some of the recent threads on diet, I've decided to get myself a food dehydrator. The problem is: they don't appear to exist in England. Does anyone know where I can find them in UK?
Also, appreciate any other pointers on what to look out for, it's going to have to be a relatively budget model, could this end up causing me too many difficulties?

We had one and used it for awhile but eventually got rid of it. The home models often require quite a bit more effort and dehydration time than they would lead you to believe. Despite our best efforts we could never get our dehydrated foods to come out tasting as good as commercial products. We got it for preparing foods for hiking and camping and it just never performed up to our expectations. The good news is they are inexpensive. Just be realistic and take some of the sales pitches with a grain of salt.
