not ina way you want them to. Water weight loss, that's all. You'll lose strength as well.

A doctor I used to ride with would always say to the weight weenies, "If you want to really lose weight, use a laxative or enema instead of spending a thousand dollars to lighten your bike!" That was said in fun, but he had a point about the cost of an ultra light bike.

The thing about laxatives is they help empty your bowels but will not help with fat. The side affects can be painful and unpredictable. In other words, you may give yourself a case of diarrhea. Needless to say, that weakens you. Your body is now out of balance and low in water stores. Do this the day or night before a race and forget it!
Much quicker to lop off a leg, and about as productive. (nm)allervite
