Leukemia Team in Trainingnuggets

What is this all about, sounds pretty cool. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Looks like a good way to make a step up in my riding and help out a good cause.

I apologize for the cross post.

Any thoughts anyone??
Thanks :)

Team in Training is a program in which the participants guarantee a minimum donation to the Leukemia Society of America, and in return they receive training for the event they will be undertaking.

Last time my sister did it, she had to collect a minimum of something like $2,200 for the event, so I and my family sponsored her. She also got additional sponsors and went over the minimum.

TIT (pardon the acronym) also has "mentors". These are people who've done the event before and come back to train new groups of people for future events.

They cover all kinds of events, from marathons to triathalons to cycling rides.
