Velodrome Track racingJD

Greetings fellow cyclists
I have been looking for general information on track racing. I have not been successful. I was hopping that some one could give me some info, or a link, or a source. Exactly what I am looking for is basic info on what track racing is, what various events are & how thay are raced & scored. I have heard of sprints, TT, pursuit, keirnan( I am not sure how that is spelled), etc. I want to know what these are, and how they are raced, also what the tactics & stratagies are. Can someone help me or tell me where I can get this info?
Thanks alot
JD

Again, not meaning to be a total prick.

Learn to use a search engine.

www.google.com
enter "bicycle track racing"

It's an amazing thing, this "search engine".

The best of the results appears to be:

When going to the track, sit next to some one who is knowledgeable and ask questions. You may not recognize what's going on (or why) when you se it.
