Lenga, Linga?...What does it mean?broken003

I watched the major tours and the Road to Paris documentary and I have a question that I hope someone can answer. During some of the time trials the riders have the team coach yelling (sounds like Lenga) to them. I would guess it
is some sort of encouragment, but I can not find a translation. I would guess spanish, but I dont know for sure. So if you know please fill me in.

Thanks
Mark

They are yelling "Venga" which is GO in Spanish. The Italian equivalent is "Vai", and of course in French it is "Allez".
Not "go" but "COME!"nestorl

The literal translation is COME!

the figurative translation is COME ON!!

Cheers from an former-south of the border guy :-)
