|I can get either bike, new and never ridden for about $2000. Which is a better value? The M4 comes with durace. The Jamis is steel....aluminum vs steel an issue?|

|Get specialized. I am biased, I know. When and if you get M4 be sure to check for frame alignment and whether the rear wheel is equidistant from the chainstays as well as seatstays. No clue about Jamis, but just knowing that it is steel, smaller company, worse components tells me that m4 is better. The beauty of specialized al. is that you can snap a lot of these frames, meaning that you get a new frame every year. Just be sure to crack it before warranty runs out lol, and you will have a new frame. Don't worry about frame failure - it is something that happens with all aluminum frames, especially when they are a pound lighter than any steel frame. Yes, you pay for light with durability, but hell yeah m4 will fly up the hills. Perfect for racing. YOu don't tell what wheels are on m4 though.
