|Does anyone know what role Casagrande will have in the TDF ... ?
Will he be strong enough to be team leader or will that fall in the hands of Belli.

|Casagrande has stated that he could get top 5 but Ullrich and Armstrong are too strong for him in the time trials. I would pick him to be third in a close battle with a very in form Christophe Moreau.
Either Ullrich or Armstrong will end up in yellow. The green and the spotted are up for grabs, any thoughts?

|I heard Botero (Kelme) or Heras ... for the climber's jersey ...
I think Zabel looks good for the Green. Steels is still recovering right ... ?

|I think that's highly unlikey. I would pick Rodriguez over McEwen for the green and what about Steels? Even without Fagini I'm thinkn Zabel is the man to beat. He is a better climber than most of the sprinters and once Jan realizes he can't take Armstrong he'll start working for Zabel.
What about Botero?

|Cycling4all doesn't have McEwen down on the start list for Domo, Telekom isn't taking Fagnini, unless the whining by him and Zabel get them to change their mind, and Zabel's quotes seem to indicate that he's already conceded the jersey. I would pick Steels or Vainsteins as my favorites. Long shots would be Jalabert and Konychev (or Baldato depending on who Fasso has designated as the protected man).|

|Green will be Steels and KOM will be Oscar Sevilla (Kelme).|

|Who will be Domo's designated sprinter, fast Freddy?|

|I would think Vainsteins but if he's not up to the task maybe Rodriguez will get the nod.|
|Ya, probably Vainstains but...||J.S.|

|That whole Domo team are fast finishers, could be the Saeco red train all over again....er... except they are grey, oh well. I'm actually pretty suprised they didn't select Dave Bruylandts, he's a good bet for top 15 but I guess that doesn't mean as much as stage wins.|

|Yeah they seem to have forgone any shot at a high GC ranking in favor of stage wins and maybe the green jersey for Vainsteins. I guess Merckx could get top 10 if he had the best three weeks of his life, maybe Wadecki, he's kind of an unknown, I don't know how he climbs but he's won alot in Eastern Europe.|| |
