I was on a 3 hour ride and about the 2 1/2hr mark I got an pain on the ouside ball of my ankle. I can walk fine but when I ride I can feel a little pain on the ball of my ankle on the outside. What can cause this is my seat to high?

Sounds like you have irritated or strained your
peroneus Longus tendon, which passed around the back
and bottom of the lateral malleoli. Its also possible
that you may have strained some of the ligaments in
the area (talofibulars) but I kind of doubt it.

Take it easy and use ice and over-the-counter NAIDS like
advil or aleve.

If it continues to bother you, see your Orthopedist.

Dr. Doug
