There is a ton of advertising about OLN carrying live coverage of the Tour de France this year but will ESPN/ESPN2 still carry taped broadcasts as in years past?

I hope so for all you non-OLN getting types. Something being better than nothing and all that. I kind of doubt it though. Seems they keep saying "OLN's exclusive coverage..."

I'm one of the lucky OLN getting types so I cold care less. ;->
No to ESPN, ESPN2, ABC. (Thank goodness)Elefantino

The only question I don't have answered yet is, will Phil, Paul and Bob be in studio or in Paris?
At least this year, we don't have to put up with Disney's horrible coverage and Adrian Karsten's syrupy blatherings.

My understanding is PPB are supposed to be at Le Tour, not the studio like the Giro.

Ditto your remark about Karstens. The guy was such a homer and a goofy one at that. He's a freakin' sideline reporter for college football on ESPN. He knew next to nothing about cycling and it showed. He's gone, finally. Thank goodness OLN is covering the Tour. At least they get the right people together to cover the event.
