| Spinerval videos | burnan Jun 5, 2001 9:56 AM | | Any opinions on the Spinerval videos? Which one(s) do you have? |
| re: Spinerval videos | jschrotz Jun 5, 2001 2:34 PM | | I've got the Mental Toughness, uphill grind and time trial videos. So far I've only done the mental toughness video and it provides a really good workout. The warm-up is a bit short though (@5 minutes) so I usually start the video about 5-6 minutes after I start my warm-up. The cool-down is a bit on the short side as well. The last hard part of the workout works your sprint and then only 5 minutes or so are given for a cool-down. Extend it another 5-10 minutes and you'll have a really well done workout.
Like I said earlier, I haven't tried the other two videos yet, as I'm still in the base-building phase of my training program, so I don't want to push things that hard yet. If the one video is any indication, the other two will be good too. |
| I have the same three | Lazy Jun 5, 2001 3:19 PM | | They're good. They're hard. What jschrotz mentions above about the warm up/cool down is true, but I hadn't even thought of it until he (she?) mentioned it. Very high intensity work out so don't try to do them everyday. |
| I have the suffer-o-rama | Roger2 Jun 5, 2001 2:53 PM | | and as for an indoor workout I haven't found anything more demanding, if you give it all for the workout it'll bring you real close to getting sick.
It's high intensity intervals with a couple minutes of tempo here and there. The workout with warmup is about 50 or so minutes. |
| thanks for the help everyone (nm) | burnan Jun 7, 2001 5:49 AM | | |
