!!BICYCLE HOMOCIDE!!BIGBADTRIKID

Hello Everyone.I'm 15 years old. The bike I have is a Schwinn world sport that I bought for $90 in really bad condition (all it needed is a little cleaning up). Its a pretty nice bike for what I payed for it. I took the bike completly apart and regreased and relubed everything, did a free wheel overhaul, bought new cables, Bought new tires, bought a new seat post, and tuned everything. All in all I sacrafice three saturdays working from 12 noon to 12 at night just to get it running. Thats 36 hours. I just got the bike set and running perfect the other day. It WAS running perfect until my dad took a pipe wrench to my back triangle and seat tube so now my frame is distroyed and my wheel is a giant taco. The thing is that was my only bike I have. I have no money for a new one because i put it all in to this one and I have a triathlon coming up June 3rd and I'm looking to come in the top 15 and I don't know what to do. I need some help.
why would....peloton

your Dad do that? Anger managment classes meet everywhere nowadays though. I hope it was an accident.

Yeah, I was just walking along with this wrench, when I tripped and fell (really hard) into my kids bike...
I can see why your dad might discourage triathlons though. y'know, speedo's and all.

Thanks for another productive reply, Willy.

Trikid- Try asking around at your local shops. At the one I used to work at there were a number of frames people had basically discarded lying around. You might be able to find an old one cheap and just have the wheel relaced with a new rim. It might not be that expensive. Worth looking anyway.
REPAIRABLE!?!?!?!?!?!BIGBADTRIKID

I was seventeen when my mom's second husband took the seat and cranks and pedals off of my bike, so i could not ride...i left home on my eighteenth birthday...(not that you should)...but I got a good job, went to school, and ride whenever I want now...print this post up and give it to your dad (he won't do nothing to you...) ...I am 32 years old now.

if this post is true; print it up...so I can tell him...

you are an ass*&^%. And I would kick your &^%, if we were in person you goodang son of a b*&^%... What a wimp, to pick on a kid...I bet you are the man that runs when trouble starts where men are starting trouble...ohhhhh! but if it is a boy...you are tough!

I met my step father later on...I was too much bigger than him to kick his rear end for real...just felt sorry for him...

your son grows stronger everyday...and you grow weaker...teach, don't destroy.

Anyways...He is your dad. He is stupid in respect to the actions he did within the context you have written them(are you getting D's and F's in school?, etc.) Anyways... Once you are eighteen (or nineteen, 20, 21) , and free, life gets alot better...in fact...it is great...hang in there! Someday, you will be asking about 5,000 dollar bikes and which one to get... you don't believe it, but it happens...

(he puts the beer down)

P.S. If he lives in Northern California, I will visit him...let me know.
