May 15, 2001 8:20 AM | | If your thinking of UCI categories, they are in reverse order of difficulty. Cat 1 is the hardest, longest, steepest. Cat 4's are the easiest. For the Tour de France, they throw in the Hors Categorie (HC) for climbs more severe than the Cat 1's. Hope this helps. |
