| 56T/55T for Time Trial | Jayh May 7, 2001 5:17 PM | | Anyone used a 56T chainring for TT's (vs a 53T)? Excelsports.com has a Stronglight 56/55/54. |

| re: 56T/55T for Time Trial | jp2 May 8, 2001 6:33 AM | | i run a 55 up frunt and an 11x21 in the back. did a 20k this weekend, using mainly the 55x13. there was a little wind on the undulating course. i like to push lower gears. i don't like to tt at 100 rpm, prefer the 90-95 zone. in the big gears, i don't let it drop below about 85 though, or everything falls apart. |

| re: 56T/55T for Time Trial | jp2 May 9, 2001 6:28 AM | | due to the time of year, new child, and being ill, i was only able to post a 28:41. good enough for 1st in the 30+
that ought to be enough excuses, except i forgot the wind. definitely not my best time. |
