Is swimming a good training supplement to cycling or does the strength gained from cycling help at all with swimming?

I have been doing triathlons for several years now. I swim 3 times a week in addition to cycling and running. I don't think there are many cross-over benefits from swimming to cycling. Swimming may allow you to maintain aerobic fitness while taking a break from cycling.
