Since Live Steam agrees that paying CMB'sOldEdScott

expenses is just hunky-dory, I guess he owes her an apology, since this story is clearer that the 20K is to cover travel and staff expenses, not a salary.

Here's betting she doesn't get one, though.

While it is true that Steam unfairly called her character and motives into question, so did others. It was conventional wisdom as recently as this morning that she was selling her endorsement. You can hardly blame Steam for acting on what others assumed to be true.
Right. The insinuation is out there, hanging in the air.OldEdScott

Doesn't matter that, later, when the facts come out, it was all bullshyt. People remember the smear, not the correction. Which is as it should be when you're practicing the politics of personal destruction, something the Repubs have refined to High Art in recent years.
All's well that ends well.czardonic

The American people will never have to fear CMB related program activities.
Plus we don't have to worry that Howard DeanOldEdScott

has lost his mind to crack.

'Paid CMB for her endorsement.' LOL LOL LOL LOL!

Might as effectively give ME 20K a month to endorse him! LOL LOL!

I stated that it appeared unseemly based on the information at hand. Now this stuff you posted is 'new information'. If it isn't revisionist history of what actually transpired or what they intended to transpire, fine. So she is on a 'budget'. As I stated, she and Dean would have been breaking the law had she been paid as it first appeared. She cannot be paid. She can only claim expenses as a former candidate in this race.

I have to say it took long enough for both of these camps to attempt to set the record straight. I can't imagine what they would do in an actual crisis. Dean is a mess. His campaign manager must want to shoot him every time he opens his mouth.

..."Carol Moseley Braun sold her's for $20k per month! nm "

Which is a far cry from saying it APPEARED unseemly.

The only thing I saw that would have been illegal in this case would be if the Dean campaign paid CMB's campaign DEBT. I saw nothing that precluded a former candidate going to work for a salary for a current candidate. If there is such a rule or law, I would like to know about it. Please post a link to that particular law or rule so that I can be better informed.

BTW, since you posted a link from the 16th, and OES posted a link from the SAME DAY, it hardly took them long to "clear things up". Now, as for how long this little innuendo/lie has been bouncing around in the conservative echo chamber you inhabit, I can't say. Did some loyal Fox reporter bring it up in NH in the past couple days?

Oh, let me guess. Someone sent you this item via e-mail?

But it is a phrase used a lot to refer to the political part of the "blogsphere" in specific, and political media more generally. I've seen it on many occasions.

It just applies so well in this case.

Now everyone can see that you DO take this stuff seriously, and you DO get pissed off at what people type on the net.

So, in addition to having a tenuous grip on reality, an inability to comprehend simple statistics, an inability AND unwillingness to back up your statements with evidence, we can add childish name calling temper tantrums to the list of Live Steam attributes.

Oh, bravo, bravo!

Now, what can I do with this last, teeny-tiny scrap of respect I held for you? Oooops! It just disappeared! Well, not much of a loss in any case, it was barely visible.
I'm half convinced that someone stole Steam's login.czardonic

If anyone were to steal his login, I would hope they do a MUCH better job than that.

Irrational rages are a sign of inhalant abuse. I knew he was hanging around with the likes of bill and No_brain but I never thought he would start huffing with them.

of rabid dim witted neo-cons who are poorly informed, out of touch and unable to exercise any critical thinking faculties so much so that you are actually able to get so upset at a poster in an internet forum that you have to physically threaten them

to me that smacks of the latent tendencies most of you far right boys have - you and No Sprint should "get together" to "work out" just like he wanted that way you could "blow off" some real "steam"

how's that new season of Will & Grace big boy?
