gets clued in on information he knows nothing about right now and backs down on his promise to turn tail and run like a wuss.
you mean all that "intelligence" that Bush can't reveal?gtx

Lol. Ok, so Dean discovers that it was really Saudi money behind the 9/11 attack. So we stay in Iraq and use that as a base to attack Saudi Arabia? Oh wait, forgot, we didn't go to Iraq because of 9/11. We went because of the WMDs. So Dean learns that the WMD that Rummy gave Saddam in the 80s are now across the border in Syria. So then he...what? Attacks Syria? It still doesn't explain what he'll do in Iraq, which is just the same big mess everyone has always known it to be. And Saddam is just another Noriega. He just has more money and a bigger place to hide in.

DO with truck now that he's caught it?

Gets the UN to take over, if that's still possible. One thing's certain, Iraq won't simply be cut loose. If the UN tells Dean to go to hell, and if NATO does after that, he'll keep 100K troops there. No question.

trucks run over dogs and kill them. And the Vietnam truck killed quite a few presidents.
turn it over to UN, throw $200bil into the kitty, move on.dr hoo
Dec 4, 2003 9:33 AM
That would be a lot cheaper and no LESS effective than the current policy.

talk about effective? yeah, turn it over to the un. thats a smart move.

You bet, they sure did a good job for the last 10 years.

A loser who'd give control of a situation back to a proven loser.
like I said, no less effective.dr hoo

Iraq is going to be a mess, and the invasion will increase violence in the middle east and terrorism world wide. I think the UN can do that just as well as Bush.
the un will be much less effective-nmbill105

effective at what?gtx
Dec 4, 2003 10:02 AM
not getting killed?
keeping the peace?
rooting out evildoers?
Not at enforcing their resolutions, that's proven. nmNo_sprint

Nobody's afraid of the wizard of oz anymore. The organization is absolutely powerless and insignificant. If some think it's anything more than a house of cards, well... go on and think that!
Dec 4, 2003 10:20 AM
the un doesnt have the same goals, resources or incentive to make sure iraq is a success.
Is the US effective at enforcing its laws? nmTri_Rich
Dec 4, 2003 10:27 AM
That has nothing to do with the UNs inability to enforceNo_sprint

it's resolutions. Off topic.
So the UN should be dumped ...Tri_Rich

while Bush should be re-elected?
If that's what you think, that's fine. I won't argue it. nmNo_sprint
