|"The U.S. government is warning that a surge in terrorist violence overseas and the nearing end of the Muslim Ramadan holy month increases the possibility of attacks on U.S. interests abroad."
So how many FBI/CIA/Ashcroft meetings were required to decide on issuing this warning? I sense some highly sophisticated counter-terrorism analysis went into today's warning. Or not. These warnings amount to little more than simplistic extrapolations from newspaper reports.
Do these warnings serve any counter-terrorism purpose? Or, are these warnings just knee-jerk CYA proclamations to cover the government if an attack just so happens to occur? I think it's the latter.

|Plus, you need to read newspaper reports before you can make simplistic extrapolations from them.
So really, I think you can just set your suspicious aside and enjoy the rampant peace and prosperity that the Liberal Media refuses to report.

|that because of their actions in iraq the world is a safer place. we've nothing to worry about, cause georgie was brave and committed enough to do the right thing, despite the protests and negativity of all those bleeding heart, whining, cowardly liberals.|
