my mug looks like and these just arrived from our photographer (she was really pregnant for our wedding, so we knew we would be waiting for pics), I thought I would post one from the wedding. I like this one. Those are my nephews and niece with our friends little girl who was the flower girl. The kids were fabulous that day. They're good kids :O)
So Steam...No_sprint

we've already seen how Doug and Gregg(!) feel about homophobic attacks on people posting here - as I've said before I bet there are different rules for calling someone by a racial epitaph
why? LOLNo_sprint

Wussies! Go cry to mommy!
Oct 30, 2003 9:43 AM
I'm a wussie for objecting to "homoboy"?
Oct 30, 2003 9:48 AM
What's wrong with homoboy? Is that on the *bad* list? Not as far as I know.

Also because you're a whiney cry to the moderator. Grab some sack boy, oh that's right...

are you challenging me to a fistfight?

that's a first for me in an internet forum - what are you like a teenager or something? do your parents know you're on their computer again? maybe you could go play on some of those white-power chat pages with some of your friends
You start the game and now you don't want to play?No_sprint

I really don't think you could. You might, but you surely wouldn't walk away.

That is why you're a wussy.
what exactly are you saying?MJ
Oct 30, 2003 10:34 AM
do you wanna "fight me" cause I suggested you took a very active interest in "meeting up" with Steam? - it seems he's run a mile from the suggestion and this thread as well - you probably made him uncomfortable - it was beautiful though

so just to clarify - are you seriously suggesting I get on a plane, fly to LA, question your feelings for Steam "in person" and then get attacked so badly (presumably by you?) that I couldn't walk away? will you put money up for my flight? - should we meet up in baggage claim at LAX? (I assume you'll be the one with the roses and tight leather shorts) - will there be rules? gloves? anything goes? am I allowed to hit back or just to get punched? weapons allowed? my choice or yours? will betting be allowed?

the more you carry on (apparently challenging me to a physical confrontation) the more you out yourself as someone with clearly latent homosexual tendencies - now that's not a problem for me - it won't surprise you to know I've got plenty of gay friends all of whom would've raised an eyebrow to your exchange with Steam above and and at your reaction understood you in a way you probably don't like

BTW - my dad's bigger than your dad

any other meaningless throw away comments you're willing to post on then net without having to actually put yourself out very far - the most sporting thing you could do if you really want to harm me is to offer to fly to London to kiss (whoops! a typo! - or maybe that's what you're really after?!?) my arse?

as it's far from mine. I suppose I could have read it and sit back and thought it was cute that you probably hope I have the same feelings.

Sorry! I don't! LOL

You want to turn it into a personal bashing, fine, you got it. Pussy!

and myself have the opposite perspective. They got a good laugh at how some moron jumped in, turns some conversation into a personal slight, starts to whine and cry and can't take the heat he started. They told me I took it to him properly. I just told them he's a chicken, has to do stuff like that through his computer.
yeah but 12 year olds don't countMJ
Oct 31, 2003 2:07 AM
it's embarassing for you that you don't realise you're (as Rideround puts it) way behind in this

"he's a chicken he has to do stuff like that through his computer?" - "you took it to me properly" (exactly how one must wonder) - really you crack me up

BTW - who calls anybody a "chicken" these days? you can do better than that

the more I think about it the more I think your suggestion of meeting up to get to the 'bottom' of this and "taking it to me properly" 'man to man' is pretty clear in its implications - very good stuff - keep going - the longer this thread runs - the more you keep physically threatening me - the funnier it becomes and the more latent and juvenile you become

challenge - stand in front of me and read something without pictures - seriously - do you have a job? is it an inside job, or an outside job?

I bet you have the complete Will & Grace DVD collection cause it's "funny"

anyways - as I see it you've got alot of questions from my post above which you haven't yet addressed - look forward to your responses
Are you going for some awardRidearound

Does the family know Uncle Steam has some interesting opinions?

Just kidding. Nice pic. Good looking family.

One question - I'm assuming it was your (now) wife that was pregnant for the pic, right? If so, why is knowing she was pregnant make you wait for pics? Just not following that one.

I like the B/W shots, though. We didn't get any from our wedding. I kind of regret that.
No the photog was really prego :O)Live Steam

My wife just "had to have" this woman do our wedding. She does do nice work. Her stuff is on the artsy side. But she showed up at our wedding ready to drop. Christine was po'd. Our wedding ceremony was outdoors. Luckily it was ony 80 with relatively low humidity or the photog would have suffered and Chris would have ..... well let's just say it wouldn't have been nice :O)

Yeah I kind of like the BW pics too and that surprised me. I am trying to get the digital images from her. We have the negatives, but I would like the digital so I can put them on a disk. She shot both color and BW and used film as well as digital.

Scanning them does not reap great results as you can see. It would also be too much work.

must be the lack of coffee today.
"Having my baby" . . .ms
Oct 29, 2003 9:30 AM
I read it the same way on a quick first reading. Then after I looked at the photo (very unpregnant bride), I went back and understood that the photographer, not the bride was pregnant. The whole thing reminds me of a friend's wedding about 20 years ago. At some point during the reception the band (one of those horrible "wedding bands") began to play Paul Anka's "Having my baby." I think that almost everyone in the room asked the person next to him or her: "Is X (the bride) pregnant?" She wasn't and the whole thing has given the bride and groom of the day many laughs since then. The lesson: never mention pregnancy and a wedding in the same breath -- whether the bride is pregnant or not.

BTW: A very nice picture. My wife and I have tons of good candid pictures from our wedding. But, none of the formal, posed pictures is any good.
