I want to buy my kids (and myself) a micro-scope. You know, for looking at bugs, blood and stuff like that. Other than the one I had as a kid (most likely a $10.00 K-Mart deal), I have no experience.

Can anyone tell me what to look for that would be worth $100.00 or so?

I also am interested in the hard/software that would allow the viewing to be done via a small camera attached to the microscope over the computer.

Thanks, hey, you are all cyclists, I trust your advice on everything.

Trust a cyclist!?? HA! of course we have to advise that you buy the million-dollar titanium/scadminium/tootlebanger Quad Laser Microscope as endorsed by Lance Armstrong.

seriously, though, THE place to go is here: http://www.sciplus.com
