well, all heck is breaking lose in Colorado...she shows up at the hospital for the rape examination with panties on with somebody other than Kobe's sperm and semen.

I cannot see how a jury would not find reasonable doubt here...

These things are rarely as simple or easily understood as we might think from media, especially early in the process, accounts.

I can't follow this case anymore. Every day will have the headlines screaming "DEFENSE DROPS BOMBSHELL!" "LATEST STUNNING MOVE BY PROSECUTION!" "KOBE CASE REVELATION EXPLODES!"

I think there's many in the media whose only regret is that the girl isn't white, depriving them of a key racial element to exploit.

I heard her described as a white blonde... nmClydeTri

For some reason I thought she was black. Maybe it's a good thing that I was unsure. Maybe it isn't, or won't, be brought up as a factor.

should evidence of her suicide attempts be admitted into evidence? Why or why not? An arguement could be made that any evidence of physical trauma (injuries) she alleges were caused by Bryant, could have actually either been self inflicted or inflicted by an accomplice looking to profit from this case. I know it's another conspiracy theory :O)

If this girl has the opportunity to take some cash from Kobe to drop the case, she should take the money and run. Once again "If it is found to be true"

Not to let Kobe off the hook - because he did cheat on his wife and possibly committed rape - but these big name athletes must have bulleyes on their foreheads for every scam artist, charlatan, sicko, and sleazo trying to get money from them. Any woman he slept with (lets' not be naive, this girl probably isn't the first) could cry "rape" and at least get him in trouble if not get $$ from him.

I hope he's exonerated if these allegations prove to be true.
She already told the cops about that.MR_GRUMPY

When she was being questioned, she told the cops that she had had sex two days before she was raped. Does this mean that she is "fair game" ? We will have to see what the person that she talked to, right after the rape, says.
I thought it was pretty funny how they did a spoof on saturday night live, about Kobe's lawyer. Gave out the name of the law firm and their area code. The news said that their phones were overloaded for some time.
This whole thing reminds me of that trial in Africa last month, where they decided not to stone the woman to death, for getting pregnent.
What a messKristin

Does that imply that she wore nasty, crusty underwear around for two days? Eyick!

I think it may imply that she is rather naive and possibly thought that the blood and other substances would be attributed to Bryant. Something is very strange about this. Why would one go to the hospital for an examination with "dirty underwear". I hate to be cynical, but something isn't right here.

I remember a report on motel sheets, that made me want to sleep in my own sleeping bag. Apparently, some things hang around longer than we thought.

he's supposed to still be innocent as of yet, so why have people like you already judged him guilty. And we still don't know who the accuser (aka the "victim") is, or even if she is black or white... I haven't taken the time to do a web investigation yet, but I'll take the word of those that have that she is a white and a blonde.... well now just think of all the dumb blonde jokes that will be added to the jokebook....

This whole thing is turning into a ridiculous charade... how is justice being served when a clumsy dalliance like this is considered by the courts as being similar to a stranger jumping and raping a jogger in the park....

And now it appears she doesn't wash her dirty panties. Well, well.

One thing you said is true - that some things hang around longer than we thought. This whole case is more and more becoming an example of that.

is that fluids can remain for quite a bit of time and that a new thong can become *soiled* with a prior partners... even after 24/36 hours.

Regardless of how things transpire, there'll likely be a blond in CO with a pretty decent bag of some kind of settlement or *rights* sale who definitely appears to like to get down and dirty.

I'm thinking about going to CO in a couple years or so and for anyone else thinking the same thing, I'd like to officially state that the line begins behind me!!!! :)
