Question about Israel's tactics.Hot Carl

I have to hand it to them. For every suicide bomber, they have an answer. They can compress the judicial process into 24 less than 24 hours. It's almost like Israel has a long list of terror targets that they are just sitting on, saving for a rainy day.

Why do they wait for the suicide attacks before they conduct some "terror raid". Why is a terror raid always "in retaliation"? How long did they know of the Syrian terror camp?
If they know the actual location and activity of a terror cell, why don't they just bomb it initially, instead of waiting for a suicide bomber to act?
Do they have knowlege of terrorist hiding locations, yet they keep it secret, so they can save it for a future "retaliation" strike?
Pretty good question, add another one...No_sprint

Why do WE not go in there and annihilate the Hamas organization? We've pledged to battle terror, know it exists, they proclaim it, we (Israel and the U.S. therefore) have good intelligence where they're located...

I guess the same question can be asked of the U.S.
that whole mess confuses me.sacheson

Israel retaliates on suicide bombers, calls off peace talks because of them, yet will not uphold the no build mandate in the "Mid-East Peace Process".

Seems to me they are the cause of their own grief.

The Israelis do cause much of their grief. They complain that the Arabs want nothing less than the extermination or expulsion of Jews. Yet the Israelis seem bent on the same trajectory for Palestinians. They cannot be citizens, cannot vote, cannot live where they choose - in their own homeland, no less, are allocated one-tenth as much water per capita as Israeli citizens, etc. The Israeli government does all it can to make Palestinian life unsustainable, and uses tanks and missles (thanks to the USA) to quell any unrest.

I'm almost surprised that other Arab nations don't do more to aid the Palestinians, but they likely fear that Israel would nuke them if they provided more than token arms and terrorist training.

I am shocked and dismayed that george actually said something that I couldn't find anything wrong with.
