There is an ad here on this site by Yakima that features a closeup picture of a little girl pressing something to her nose. What the heck is that? And how is that related to a Yakima product?

It gives me the heebie-jeebies every time I see that ad. :) :)

Now that I want to look at the thing, I can't get it to come up so I can refresh my memory. This has come up a couple of times before, though. As any parent can probably tell you, it's just a kid goofing around. It doesn't have to mean anything or stand for anything. I have two grown children, and I feel good every time I notice that picture. Kids just DO stuff like that.

I'm glad you asked the question because I was also wondering the same thing.

I work in advertising, and we get clients all the time that want to exploit their children and use them somehow in their ads. It's sickening after a while. This girl is probably a daughter of a Yakima exec & they thought it would be cute. Emotions do sell products, though. I just find it amusing that she's flippin' off the viewer.
it's FUN dammit!!!!!! (NM)ColnagoFE
