They have Kermit as one of the commentators.

Brilliant. Plain and simple; so much so that even lottery could/can/should understand.

I stand in humbled awe....

And Kermit was an integral part of my life. The Muppet show was on Friday nights while I was in college. We'd spend the better part of the afternoon drinking Swampwaters (a delightful blend of four shots of fruit-flavored brandies served in a mason jar) for a buck apiece. After four or five of them, we'd stumble home to watch Kermit and Fozzie and the gang. We'd laugh uproariously, dumping pizza on the floor while spilling cans of Strohs and Old Style beer on ourselves. What pleasant memories!

Another pleasant memory of the 70's was listening to Led Zeppelin, Frank Zappa, Deep Purple and various other loud musicians on my headphones. I realize that this was not specifically 70s related in general, but rather peculiar to my own situation. The result of that particular exercise comes tomorrow, as I get fitted for a hearing aid.

Oh to be drunk, broke, laughing at Kermit, and listenint to Frank sing "Broken Hearts are for A$$holes" at maximum volume again! Sigh. Those really were the good old days!

Thanks for bringing back those great memories.

because her freinds said she reminded them of Miss Piggy. The sad thing is, she did seem to carry herself in the same way as Miss Piggy. She held her head and moved the same way as the damn puppet. She could also be a total b!tch sometimes, which is a big part of why she is my ex-fiance.

Through one of those Special TV Offers.

I was drunk at the time.

Even after receving them for several months, I still wasn't catching on. The little brown box would be inside my gate and I'd be, "WTF is this?"

I've noticed at meetings, everyone looks just like a certain Muppet128

Now, having let another colleague in on this phenomenon, it's harder than ever not to laugh during departmental meetings. They're all there: Fozy, Kermit, Big Bird, Mr. Hooper! etc...

Try it without laughing. Not easy, I assure you.

So she asks -"well, who are we then in the Muppet Pantheon?"
- "The old guys in the balcony"
-"oh."
