|...or better yet, anyone
in or around Austin and know what's going on with "ACL"? Haven't seen any sign of new shows in ages on the PBS stations in SoCal, their website doesn't look like it's been updated for a year or more, and when I e-mailed them, I just got an automated response that didn't tell me diddly. Did they finally bite the big one? Given the terrible nature of L.A. radio these days, "ACL" was about the only source for good music anymore AND I NEED IT!!!!!

|The original seires is syndicated on Trio channel. Ive been trying to tape the performances i like best. Because every artist isnt included on the lameass compulation CD sony put out a while back.
Oh and a comment on LA radio. You have one the best stations in the US in KCRW. Im in Bay area and listen to a 24/7 audio feed of all their music programs. its the best radio out there. Also KLON and KPFK arent to bad for reggae and blues, if you like that stuff.

|but kexp out of Seattle is really, really good. Listen online at KEXP.org.
I'm listening to Little Steven's Underground Garage right now. A bunch of archived shows at http://www.littlestevensundergroundgarage.com
And I haven't heard anything about ACL. I can't imagine that it would die without any news. I'll look around.

|...for California supporting Gore instead of Dubya. This is what happens when you ignore that "Don't mess with Texas" bidness--you get reruns. Ahhh, well. At least this Friday I'll have a chance to tape the Joan Osborne performance I neglected to record earlier.
...as for KCRW, everyone tells me it's great, but I've got 2 mountain ranges between me and them, so I never pick it up. KPCC used to have a great midday big band/swing show, and on weekends, KCSN had about 4 straight hours of bluegrass, but those both seem to have been flushed down the can.
