|If so, and if the Greendale Tour has not come to your area yet, I highly suggest checking it out.
After reading the reviews, I was leary. A conceptual rock opera? What in the ...
We went last night - saw him at Red Rocks - it was FABULOUS! The music was great. The actors concept he employed was really entertaining. And the encore was blazing!
If you go, approach it with an open mind. It is a divergence from his normal stuff, but it well worth the ticket price.

|He's done some weird things over the years -- remember Tron? -- but no matter what, at bottom it's always Neil and it's always great.|

|Saw that concert as well. I have to admit I kind of liked that album but it would not be an album I'd give to those unfamiliar with Neil. "Like an Inca" is a great song off that one.|
|Oh right, Trans. I knew there was something not right there. nm||OldEdScott|

|A must for the DVD collection if you are a Neil fan. Can't wait for the new DVD...supposed to have the whole Greendale movie as well as the DVD audio in regular stereo and also in 5.1 surround. Should sound awesome.|

|probably the best show i've ever seen at red rocks and that's saying a lot. seen him there a few times now and this was by far my fave. not the show to go to if all you want to hear is the hits though. looking forward to the DVD of that concert. on a sour note...i'm paying for the lack of sleep today! got to bed after 2 and up again at 5...gotta go insert my IV drip of coffee... ;)|

|... and I'm on my 6th cup-o-espresso this morning. I've got these nervous jitters ... but I'm awake!
I think the second-hand high I got last night is impacting me much more than my sleep deprevation! I got home and ate a bowl of cereal and a couple of breakfast bars before i could sleep! Makes me wonder how I stayed 15 lbs lighter 15 years ago - I LIVED off munchies back then!

|Is this rocking Neil or folkie Neil? I love them both, but I hate the venues he plays as rocking Neil (World Music Theatre, etc.)
Saw Allman Bros. last night. Derrick Trucks is Duane reincarnate. Guitar savant.

Divergence from his normal stuff? Has he learned to carry a note in a bucket? Or does he now sing about something other than his loathing for the rest of the human race.
Gimme Crosby, Stills, and Nash!
