They seem 100% sure it was them. There will be few tears shed for them.

I've got a nephew in the 101st, 3rd Brigade, over there, and they lost two of their batallion within the last week to those goons. I'm sure they're happy to get some revenge today. They very much want to get the job finished and come HOME, and this should help.

One more big poker card to go ...

A high strength weapons-component grade Aluminum tube where the sun don't shine?
Cynical disregardcritmass

I will assume you are referring to Dubya's "Our intelligence sources tell us that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production". But then since they were proved to be for small artillery rockets I guess your comment to me should be taken with the same cynical disregard as Dubya's statement should have been then.

Hey, 53T, I like that. It looks like we stuck Oudai and Qusay where the sun don't shine, too. Ooops, they met a critical mass. Maybe they will meet the shades of all the people they had a hand in murdering, though the BBC would probably "sex" those reports down to make them appear to be nice Baathist socialists.
In an ideal world.......MR_GRUMPY
Jul 22, 2003 7:27 PM
.....They should have been arrested and brought to trial. The world is not ideal, so this is probably the best and quickest solution. Same for Saddam.
Buy the way, even after all of this......Bush is still an idiot. Until they find the Chemical and Biological agents ( and atomic ??) he will be a true dunce.

Bush's IQ will rise if they find WMD's? If they find lots of them, will he be a genius? ;-)

If you read the account of the episode you will understand that they had no intentions of coming out alive. Try reading something besides the comics. The link should provide enough info even for you.

know why you bother with your stupid, offensive, ignorant vacant, worthless posts.

I do though - you are a complete dick with nothing better to do with your time and no real people to talk to.

The report I heard this morning was that they 1st went with the bullhorn approach: "we have you surrounded, etc". Then sent a scout team of 10 guys into the building; when that group was fired on, they withdrew and launched a full-on attack. It was also reported that they were in a fortified room, with 4" steel walls and bulletproof glass, hence the use of missles. I think everybody's preference [except for the brothers Hussein] was for capture.
maybe Janet Reno was in charge nmDougSloan
