Shutting down manana, headed west on Wednesday....sn69

Hiya gang,

I'm going e-deaf, dumb and blind tomorrow evening. I suspect it'll take me a good week to get checked-in at my new command in order to get back to RBR. Once that's done, I'll have sight and hearing, but I'll still be dumb.

In any case, take care of each other, ride safely and argue intelligently, not meanly.

Talk to y'all from San Diego!

We are going on vacation June 21-26, I think, in San Diego. Going to be at Loews at Coronado. Taking my Milano. Give me buzz if you want to do a fun ride.

Doug and Scott,

There several of us here in S.D. who ought to connect if the stars align. Humma Hah will be here in spirit no doubt.

Doug; you must get off of Coronado and ride around Torrey Pines, Del Mar, Fairbanks Ranch, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Dios, San Pasqual, Poway, Ramona, Cole Grade Rd., Palomar Mtn....

Yes the Coast Hwy. is OK too but, too many cars, lights and stop signs when there are so many routes just a bit inland with far fewer car associated impediments.

I love the inland Pala/Pauma valley route, and Courser Canyon road is one helluva climb. Can't wait...it's been too damn long.

We really should try to allign some stars, methinks. I'll be in town by Friday, and no doubt beating the snot out of myself on my blue Dean on T Pines by Saturday and Sunday. Hills...I vaguely remember what they are like!

I'm going to be there with a cruiser and little time to take away from the family. No 50 mile rides. Maybe 15 or so.

Good luck Scott! See ya' the other side ;o) nmLive Steam
