An engineer's nirvana - click on the first link to watch the commercial and then the second read the article. (They say it was done without trick photography)

You will need a few minutes to watch this but it is worth it.

Why would any advertising agency or Honda marketing for that matter be willing to spend so much time, money, and effort just for the fact that they could state that this commercial was done all in the real world, and no trick photography? This claim is probably a technicality...not completely a lie...but not completely the truth (with omissions that is...I'm sure many of the elements were real based...however, I must skeptically admit that much of the elements utilized CGI elements. With a workstation running the best CGI software, you can easily replicate just about all the real-world physics accurately as well as creating a virtual environment that cannot be distinguished from the real. By utilizing CGI, one could truthfully say that they did not use trick photography...since there is no photography in CGI. Plus, watching the commercial, there was something about some of the elements that seemed "off"...like how Morpheous explaining to Neo how Neo always knew that there was something wrong with the world that he lived in but couldn't exactly articulate what it was.
