NEWS FLASH!...Controversial Topics/Discussions are BANNED!!!eschelon

In light of ClydeTri's playful thread and my thread about Male and Females being equal, I will acquiesce as will future members from posting our "offensive" threads...since there are way too many "sensitive" people here who get too f##ken easily offended and cannot handle either A. ignoring the thread or B. not reading it or C. cannot participate in the discussion without attacking the thread poster on a personal and demeaning level...thus triggering an avalanche of flame threads.

In retribution and penance for my sins, I will only post topics related to Barney, and the Teletubbies...Damn us all to hell! Isn't there some evangelical laymen around to save my damned soul? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEE!

In making the following comment: "In retribution and penance for my sins,", you seem to show undue favoritism towards the Catholic Church! What say Ye?
Oh crap! I can't say "Ye". Shows favoritism to the King James Bible. Just nevermind!:)

What good can come of children raised on teletubbies? If you ask me they're creepy buggers. But I'll stop before someone accuses me of being racist against teletubbies--being little people of color and all.

If it weren't for those creepy little buggers, I wouldn't have been able to shower for the 2nd year of my (older) daughter's life. Not to mention, she learned how pasta was made ;-).
who's banned anything?DougSloan

Nothing has been banned. Everyone has a voice, including those who may be offended or disagree with others. Sounds like it's YOU who want to ban disagreement or voicing offense. Do you want open dialogue for everyone or not?

Just being sarcastic Doug...eschelon

it seems many people cannot participate in a thread without personally attacking someone with names and derogatory labels. People simply cannot play nice or simply ignore.

Fair enough. Responding to a post saying "I'm offended" is one thing, and fair game. Responding with a personal attack is a no-no. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference, and sometimes attempted humor is misunderstood.

Bottom line, unless it's an obvious personal attack, something like "you're an @ssh0le", probably better to just let it go.

Right to wrong, I'm much more sensitive to the personal attacks than anything else here. Attack the content, not the person, is my view.
