|Hi, a quick note to my friends to warn them not to do business with yahoo. I have used them as my web hosting company for four years and have had a lot of trouble accessing my e-mail. I have e-mailed thier tech support about this and only recieve responses to my questions about 50% of the time. The responses I do get are often days late and contain no useful information.
The big problem however is they just ripped me off. I signed up for a service that costs $49.99 for 3 months and automatically renews if you don't cancel it. At the end of two months I decided it wasn't worth it so went to yahoo, spent an annoying 30 minutes trying to cancel the service. After 30 minutes I gave up (I'm sure that is yahoo's goal) and decided I would call when I got my next bill (my credit card has thier 866 # on it). Today I called and spent 30 minutes talking to a customer service rep and his supervisor who told me they could not refund my money, not even for the 2.5 months I have not used yet. I don't feel this is the way a customer of four years should be treated. I am moving my web hosting to another host (if anybody knows of a good host please let me know) and suggest you do your business elsewhere.

|I had the same problem with MSN years ago. They never would really cancel, and every month after I got my credit card bill I'd have to call them again. Took a good 6 months.
Dispute the charges with the credit card company. This almost always works.

|Thanks, I plan on disputing with my cc company. Just wanted to let the world know how bad yahoo's customer service tactics are. After I dispute it I will get my money back and look at all the negative pr yahoo is getting! Dumb, dumb company.|

Logistically, he's in Denver, Colorado ... but, as you know, you can be anywhere.
His prices are very reasonable, and he doesn't have many restrictions as long as you are operating legally.
