I need to design a large scale (12" by 49") template of repeating geometric shapes. I'm sure this can be done on the computer, I just don't know where to start. It's hard to give specifics over a message board but if anyone thinks they can help, I can try to be more detailed.
PS - I would just take this file to Kinko's and have it printed out, I just need to design it.

|I dont think I follow. Wallpaper and tile? I would need a printout, 12 inches by 49 inches, that had repeating circles inside the larger rectangle. The circles would get bigger by 1 inch diameter until the rectangle was filled. This is a simple design, I need to be able to do more complicated ones as well.|
|Never mind. I just tried it and I couldnt||OldEdScott|

|recover the tiled image anyway, just the original. I thought it could be done down and dirty this way, but apparently not.
I suspect what you want to do could be done easily enough with Photoshop or some other imaging software. I ask for more complicated than that all the time. But my graphics guy is away today and I don't have Photoshop on my PC.

|I know this is asking a lot but could you ask him about it next time you see him? I really need to figure this out for some paintings I'm doing that I would like to submit for exhibition soon. I've gotten recommendations for PhotoShop, PageMaker and Quark, but I havent gained access to them to figure out how to use it. Thanks for your help though!!|
|Sure. He's out till Tuesday. Remind me then. nm||OldEdScott|
