Where's the best golf resort you've been to/heard that also has great places to ride? I'm sort of leaning toward Hilton Head, but know nothing definitive about cycling there.

Although I have not been, I know that Myrtle Beach has the most golf holes per capita in the U.S. I know that because where I live (Naples, FL) we are #2 per capita, but the cycling stinks here.

Most of the big ski areas have pretty good courses in Vermont. If you are planning a summer trip that may be nice. You can usually get a good package deal.

The Tremblant area of Quebec is also pretty nice. The courses looked great, but I did not play them when I was there last year. The riding is good and you can get some pretty good deals there with the exchange rate.

I'm not a golfer, but I used to do some work for the Four Seasons Aviara Resort in Carlsbad, California. The resort is beautiful, has a nice course, and is surrounded by fairly quiet and well-paved roads with inland hills and nice rides along the coast. It's close to the beach, so summer temperatures are almost always comfortable.

Deerhurst in Ontario Canada is an absolutely beautiful resort spa and golf course. I don't know where your from but it's not that far from the north eastern states. The golf course is amazing and the topography of the land in the area would be great riding. The money exchange would be very favourable. Here's the link
