|I take it you ride an Alpedhuez...is it full 853 or partial 853 with other steel members? If full 853..does 853 really ride as sweet as I have heard? you ever rode carbon? thanks for any info|

|Actually I breifly road an Lemond Alpe d' huez Aluminum Model. There were some frame issues on it with the frame though. The paint was blistering off. Now I ride Zurich with 853 and it is a sweet ride. It is stiff in the bottom bracket but has a nice smooth ride. It takes the edge off the rough Boston Roads.
I cannot help you on Carbon though. Never road it. I am a clydesdale and do not trust Carbon yet except for fly rods.
