Filing a temporary (6 month) change of address with the post office instead of a permanent change used to be the best way to cut off those junk mailers. Well, not anymore. I did this in October and was junk mail free for 1 month. Then, I started getting credit card offers delivered to my old address via first class with a request for new address. They get your new address anyway and it only costs them $.33. Now, I get more than ever. Its like they're trying get even for me costing them an extra $.20.
