For those of us outside of NY, we're in the dark here. Why's the story?

RBR forum users protesting to use of pics over 600 pixels wide?

That pic makes me feel like I'm really there. Onespeed, we should embed you with our troops in Iraq.

Just kidding of course!!!

I said, "Just Kidding!!!!"
It was actually a toss-up on the pixel size.onespeed

I have been lambasted in the past for the posting larger than the 600
limit pics, but this one begged to be posted full size.

I actually sold a picture that I took out of my office window to AP last year. Someone blew his head off in St. Patrick's Cathedral, and I got a picture of him as they were bringing him out to the ambulance; from 8 floors up; the power of digital photography.

This camera pays off every once in a while.

Protest of the war. It shut down traffic all the over to Madison. The only people that could get through were cyclists and people on foot.

I would say it was cycling related in a roundabout way.
Oh, a war protest. Whew.Kristin

With no explaination and not knowing what was going on it looks like someone mowed down a bunch of pedestrians.
Did you hear? The war is overmohair_chair

Bush saw these idiots in the street and decided he was wrong. It's all over. The troops are coming home.

These people in New York are amateurs. They should take a look at what goes on in San Francisco every day. The latest idiocy is the "Bikes not Bombs" people doing a Critical Mass-style ride every night until the war is over. In a way, I hope for a long war, so those people at least get into shape. There are some decent hills in San Francisco.
Did you practice your bunny hop? n/mfracisco
