Hypocracy of Daschle and others(16 posts)

Hypocracy of Daschle and othersCaptain Morgan
Mar 19, 2003 7:09 AM
I can understand it if an individual is anti-war. However, I think the hypocracy of some Decocrats, including Daschle, Kerry, Clinton, and Byrd is amusing.

In 1998, these guys were talking about taking a harder line with Iraq. Prior to Clinton's bombing of Iraq in 1998, they told Republicans that bipartisan politics should not be present when our military is in harm's way. Now, they are doing they exact things they warned against! Daschle is deserving of the bashing he is getting in the media right now, and I think his long-term reputation will be hurt.

C'mon, at least practice what you preach.

You mean Bush's diplomacy WORKED? Oh, whew!retro

I'll grant you that this is what he had in mind all along, so in that way it's a success. But I don't think you can spin it hard enough to make it look like a triumph of diplomacy.
Same outcome as Clinton's diplomacy efforts (nm)Captain Morgan

Daschle 's a real piece of work, ain't heLeroy

You know if "diplomacy had worked" in the UN we'd be right where we are today - at war with Iraq. We were trying to get the UN crowd to stand up on their hind legs and enforce their resolutions. They did not want to. As it has worked out we're doing it for them. Daschle is so far into the fetal position, well ... fill in the blanks yourself. ...and I used to be a Democrat! Daschle and his kind have just turned me out. It's a different world. You would think that he would not forget what happened when we were attacked in NYC on 9/11. I think what he said borders on treason.
What's a decocrat?Kristin

I read Better Homes and Gardens and Country Living. I wonder if I'm a decocrat? I bet Martha Stewart is one for sure.

But how can that be? Martha Stewart is a capitolist pig, isn't she? Maybe I'll start the Centurian Party for bikers.
Good catchCaptain Morgan

It could have been worse, though. I could have had a Freudian slip and called them "Democraps."
Hypocracy of the entire Senate and House ...sacheson

Don't forget John Ashcroft's report three years ago that the government needs to keep it's hands out of Internet regulation.

They're all a bunch of lying, cheating a$$holes. Don't think your Republican puppets are any different ... they just get their money from different sources.
Yes, accept...Captain Morgan

Since we have the House, Senate, AND Presidency (how'd you Dems let THAT happen?), most of the bipartisan demagoguery is coming from the Democratic camp lately.
It's 'except' you moron.sacheson

I noticed my error after I posted, but didn't think it worthy to make a new post because it wasn't really important to my post. Correcting grammar is so juvenile. Actually, I find it a compliment from you that you would focus more on my grammar because your arguments are so weak.
Yeah, that's EXACTLY itsacheson

Maybe ACCEPT is the correct word.hycobob

The Democrats should ACCEPT some of the responsability.
