Do I give aid and comfort to the enemy if I don't boycott the broadcast? Makes as much sense as a lot of other stuff I've heard. "Freedom fries," my @ss.

Corey, if you don't watch the Tour de F*****, shares of the Outdoor Life Network's stock will tumble, setting off a chain of worldwide financial disasters of cataclysmic proportions.

France will then tumble into the sea, which will give Belgium and Germany a lot of new beachfront property, and make the Iberian peninsula an island paradise. England's chunnel will have to be extended accordingly.

It's your decision, but there's a lot riding on this...

Actually Comcast is the parent company of OLN. So buy there stock and write shareholder services and tell them to add OLN to their line up in Medford, Mass for me ;) They just took over my cable system for AT&T Broadband and I think there is a glimmer of hope to get OLN added to my cable line up in time for the tour!!!

As for France, I can live without their products. But I would not boycott anything specifically. I rented a Jean Reno movie, Wasabi, last weekend. It was pretty good!!! And with Belgium, I could not live without my Stella Artois.

I just hope if there are any protests don't effect the race. It would suck if demonstrations were to have an impact on one of the stages. If there is a war, it should be long over by July.

Well I must confess I prefer Jean Reno movies to Janet Reno movies.

What I don't understand about cable services is the "packaging". How many people actually want the Home Shopping Network? Seems like they should pay you to watch it.

If I offended anyone who bought a collector's edition Dale Earnhardt memorial toothbrush, I apologize.

I think with most shopping networks like QVC or HSN, the pay the cable companies to carry them. In some markets, it is actually cheaper for them to buy a UHF TV station which the cable companies in the local area are required to pick up. They did that in Boston.

I miss the loud redneck guy with the porno mustache who used to sell knifes & Baseball cards. He was funny. ANd My mom bought one of the overpriced chamois mops from QVC that fell apart the second time she used it. WHe also bought Oxiclean last year and the tub is still unopened. Now I am trying to talk her out of buying a mail order vacum cleaner. I hope it is not genetic or I may have a food dehydrator in my future. ;)

Good actor although Godzilla really did suck. How anyone can turn a 500 ft lizard lizard loose in NYC and manage to bore the socks off an audience is beyond me.

and capitulates (see previous thread re: France's Military History). Better, of course, if an American leads the charge and is exalted on the Champs Elysee as the conquering hero.
