It's be nice to mention what you drive also.
I pay nothing since I bike everywhere, but others in Tucson pay $1.68.

That was in a Shell station, and they're always a dime or so high. Average between Reno and San Franciso, though, is probably close to $1.90.

I pay $1.65 now to fill up the gas hog. Thank goodness I don't drive it too much. I fill the tank every 2-3 weeks.
You suck!Kristin

I have to fill up every 5 days.

Cheapest regulard gas in my area: $1.65
Most Expensive regular: $1.82

Usually Chicago has the most expensive gas. Hmmmm.
But I'm trying to quit! ;)4bykn

On a side note, I drove on I-355/I-290 Sunday (went to IKEA and Woodfield mall) and I can't see how you city folk stand the traffic (and yes, I know the traffic is worse during the week).
You drove 3 hours to go to IKEA?Kristin

Wow. I know there are alot of IKEA fans out there, but thats crazy. If you're up here again and its warmer, look me up, we'll go for a spin.

It's just under 2 hours (at about 73mph), and I'm not the IKEA fan, that title falls to my wife. My younger daughter wanted to go to "Build-A-Bear" in the mall too. Not really my idea of a great way to spend a day, but it was too cold to ride so we spent a family day togother.

By the way, have you found a century yet?
No, I need to get on that. nmKristin

That'll throw off my peak!Kristin

Actually, I might be able to schedule this ride for 2 weeks before my century. I have a ride 4 hour ride scheduled them. Are you okay with a 15-16 MPH pace?
Sure, why not4bykn
Feb 26, 2003 2:20 PM
You must be following a rigid training schedule! Just don't let it take the fun out of cycling for you. 15-16mph is do-able. Will your training regimen allow you to ride Hilly this year?
$1.83-$1.93 here nmDougSloan

Regular is now $1.65 in Oly, WA
about $5MJ
Feb 24, 2003 9:59 AM

70p (average in London) a liter - 4.5 liters a gallon

1 gallon - £3.15

£1 - $1.59

£3.15 = $5.00

now stop complaining the lot of you
what conversion factors are you using??Alexx
Feb 25, 2003 6:22 AM
It's 3.27l=1 gallon, so then
1gal=2.289 sterling
still high, but not as bad as $5, for sure!!
