Only if you live in a mobile home. Merry Christmas.

|Well, I know I see more SUVs spin off the road and down the embankment during a storm. Some people think that they can still do 65 on a snowy highway.
Way too much snow too early in Boston this year. I hope we get a warm spell soon, or we are in for a very long winter.

|I find this very doubtful. I was in a charter bus as it travel i95 from Connecticut to New Hampshire in the March Blizzard of '93. We went through Mass to get to NH. No way they got less than 3 inches. And the Blizzard of '93 was nothing compared to the one in 1978. Can any Bostonians confirm this for me??
Woof, did the weather channel say that 50 people died in snow? They tend to exaggerate--and under-agerate--depending on the topic. TWC is not good weather in my opinion. They tend to hype it too much. How much snow did CT get yesterday? I flew home early for fear of getting laid over.

|I think 3" was the record for any Christmas day on record only. The one day record would be the Blizzard of 1978 with closer to three feet. Also when they measure this record, it is measured at the airport which is surrounded by water on three sides and is a little warmer than the rest of the city and gets less snow.
If you think the weather Channel exagerates, you should try watching the Boston News Stations. They always overstate the totals and traffic disruptions. A minor storm is treated like a hurricaine. It seems like they are trying to make it bigger than it really is in an attempot to increase ratings.
