|Any ideas how to get rid of the JS Seeker virus? I ran the Norton scan and it's telling me it's unable to delete or quarantine the infected file. It will ignore the file (ie not open it) but that means I get the alert message every time I open the browser. I tried to manually delete the files but kept getting some weird error message.

|Backup any important files, reformat the drive, and do a new clean install. Works wonders for speed.|

|You might check www.nai.com. Quite often they have detailed instructions for removing virus infected files. I don't use Norton so I can't comment on how it handles such things but I've found the NAI site useful before.|

|I would hesitate to reformat b/c it takes so long to reinstall drivers and software.
I would also be surprised if there wasnt a special removal tool on symantec or another virus software website.
