Any Steeler's fans out there?look271

Isn't it painful to watch Kordell at QB? Is he not the most over-paid, over-rated player out there? Maybe now Cower will realize that he has wasted all of how many years on this talented yet useless player?
Sorry, no sympathy in this campPaulCL

At least Kordell is talented and can win >50% of his games. At least you have a choice of two quarterbacks, we have none. I live in the Cincinnati area and....oh hell...I don't even need to explain, its' that bad here.
Your team owes me money.Sintesi

Couldn't cover a generous 5 1/2 point spread. GAHH!!

A hard lesson learned...but NEVER and I repeat NEVER bet on the Bengals. They will win 3 to 4 games per year and fail to cover the spread in at least a 12 games per year. If you bet against the Bungals, you will be a wealthy, happy man.

Have some sympathy for poor old Cincinnati (the city, not the team). We haven't had a winning season since 1988. Amazing how the timing corresponds with Mike Brown taking over the team from his dad, Paul Brown. Mike Brown doesn't spend the money to get good people becuase he makes enough profit as is. Most games are 90% sold plus TV revenues gives him a profit so why increase the payroll by $20MM??? Our dear owner would make LESS money if the team won 50% of his games. Just plain sucks.

So Go Reds !! Go Univ. of Cincinnati Bearcats !! (Huggins is healthy again, thank goodness) Go Xavier Muskies !! 'Cause we don't have an NFL team.

I lived just outside of Pittsburgh long ago (Gibsonia) and am still a fan. Geez it was '65 when we left. Living in Illinois there are tons of Bears and Rams fans, but they've yet to convert me.
I've said for years Stewart is
a starting NFL qb. While he is a gifted athlete, I think his talents would be better used as a reciever, or maybe cornerback/safety. He has the speed and strength, just not the instinct needed to be a top-notch quarterback.
Or the cranial capacity.look271

I agree. Great athlete, terrible QB. Has the "deer in headlights" look everytime you see him in the huddle. Perhaps they should renew the "slash" position for him-it was the only time he was effective.
