|I don't pay much attention to the International Space Station or Space Shuttle launches, but today's Space Shuttle launch included an external, down-looking camera on the shuttle's external fuel tank... shuttlecam. The video is 2 minutes long, mixed with upward-looking views from other cameras. The video runs until the solid rocket separate from the shuttle. It's very cool. Not even a Record 10 Merak could match that ride.

|I can eat up info on space programs all day long. I got a kick out of watching a documentary on Deep Space 1, propelled by ion propulsion. Fascinating. Sometimes I wish I were born 500 years later.
